A little about me
Born in 1943, I grew up in Hollywood, California. I was lucky enough to have played drums with some of the most well-known artists of all time. I also composed and produced the music to over 400 TV shows and feature films and produced over 40 top-selling jazz and R&B albums, in a career that spanned 40 years.
Since I was 15, I have always had a camera in my hand. In the 1980's I started painting, as well, and have shown my photos and paintings in many fine art galleries. I have taught fine art painting, and since 2005 I have been teaching photography -- individual classes at my studio in West Hollywood and conducting photography workshops around the country. I specialize in emotional portrait work and studio lighting and have co-written three books on photography.
