The next and Final Monument Valley Workshop will be April 20,21,22 2012. There will be a welcome dinner the night before on April. 19th at 7PM at the Monument valley Inn in Kayenta, Arizona.

Dave Smith and I are proud to have as our featured Guest Instructor and author, Mr. Mike Norton, who is a pro premier Landscape Photographer.

Shooting will begin at dawn on the 20th and on the 21th. The 22th will be a full day of critiques, tips and tricks, and processing skills to help you make your images really stand out.

We will be covering:
Learning to "See" the light.
Focus issues.
Understanding depth of field.
Hyperfocal distance focus.
Compositing images together.
Proper Black & White conversion methods
Toning
Composition
Hand holding techniques
And much more.

Over the last six years, these Workshops have been very popular and sell out quickly. Over the next few years we will be focusing on expanding our workshops to the east coast, the southern states and beyond, including Las Vegas, and back to Hawaii.

The price for the Monument Valley Workshop event will be $485.00 per person

This workshop is limited to 10 participants only.

Full payment must be made by Febuary 10, 2012, checks remitted to Rindersmithphotography.

NOTE*** For the Workshop to take place, we must have 10 Paid Participants confirmed by March 1st. Should the Workshop be cancelled for any reason, your payment will be returned in full.

NOTE*** Should you cancel after March 15th, and there is no replacement for your spot, you forfeit your entire payment.

After you sign-up, you will be sent a indemnity Agreement by e-mail that must be printed, signed and returned along with a Video Release, as we will be filming this as a promotional tool. You can opt out of being in the video.

Dave, Mike and I will be staying at the Hampton Inn. There are other hotels and motels in the area, the Holiday Inn in Kayenta and Gouldings in Monument Valley.

All travel, food and lodging are your responsibilities and it is highly recommended you rent a 4-wheel drive vehicle.

Flagstaff is the closest Airport, about 2 hours by car from Monument Valley. It is cheaper to fly into Las Vegas, but it will be about a 5-hour drive to Kayenta.

Also, both Dave and I will be continuing our one-on-one Private Classes for Portrait, Food and Product Photography in Chicago and Los Angeles.
